Lit Brothers
Experiential / Environmental Design
This outdoor display was created to bring back the original canopy of the classic Lit Brothers Building, with a digital twist. We created over an hour of small animated pieces that run on a dynamically populated playlist, ensuring no two runtimes are the same. The media pieces range from muralists we shot painting behind frosted glass, to full 3D animated compositions, creating and subverting expectations.
I directed a team of talented designers and animators, and worked closely with our director of film to create over 1hr worth of unique and beautifully integrated content.

Content Mapping
The concept for this piece used a combination of 3D animation, and several kaleidoscope templates featuring Philadelphia specific footage and imagery. All of this content was then mapped onto three large LED screens built into an entrance canopy. This snapshot shows some of the 2D patterns combined with the 3D trompe l'oeil surprise and delight moments.
Surprise & Delights
One of the more creative concepts built into this experience was collaborating with local mural artists to create life-size inserts. In these moments, visitors on the street could watch the mural artists paint custom art pieces on each side. At the end, the painting would come to life through subtle animations that complimented the artwork.
